Start-up Industry Veteran and Technology Expert, Kevin Cadette of Black Angels Miami, Shares What He Looks for When It Comes to Early Stage Investing
MAY 12, 2022 (Miami, FL) NASDAQ’s Tech Talk with Jarred Yellin, releases a new episode about early stage investing with none other than Kevin Cadette, a former technology executive from multiple Fortune 50 companies whose experience spans a wide spectrum from bootstrapped start-ups to global corporations.
In this Tech Talk episode, Kevin Cadette also shares his experience becoming a technology leader leading Black Angels Miami, as its Executive Director and founder of multiple start-ups.
Back in college, Kevin already had a penchant for building and developing technology solutions, but what appealed to him more was the business sense of driving what’s being developed.
"It got to the point where I’m really excited by the technology, but I really wanna drive what’s being developed.. You can build anything right? But why? So why are we building this, what’s the goal? So in my mind it wasn’t just creating, it was let’s drive something forward for the right reasons",
shares Kevin Cadette
He went to business school with the whole idea of going to another tech giant and doing product management, but ended up starting tech companies with classmates.
Now having massive success in Black Angels Miami, and being in the forefront of diversification in the venture industry, Kevin shares about the perfect deal and what Angels look for when it comes to investing in an early stage, the importance of giving pitches, and how he wants to see people succeed.
Kevin Cadette states,
“I wanna see success, because I wanna see my investors investing great things, being successful. I want it to roll out into more success, more people getting financed”.
Tech Talk is a NASDAQ Series where Jared Yellin, Founder of Project 10K, interviews tech founders, investors, and strategic advisors on their trials and tribulations in the wild, wild world of tech.
